Volunteer

The Westbury Community Project fully acknowledges and recognises the importance of the contributions made over many years by our dedicated team of DBS checked volunteers.

With this in mind, we participated in and were recognised for our work with volunteers by achieving the Investing in Volunteers award. Many volunteers have been serving the organisation for many years, one twenty years, another over ten years. This helps to create a feeling of continuity which is so important to our clients.

The members of the centre are actively involved in volunteering, decision making and running of the centre. A number of members of the day centre are Trustees on the Management Committee.
